Our history
Harry Rubino is a curious person. He has always sought to understand people’s needs in order to help them make sound decisions. Early in his career, Harry worked as a sales professional, and since 2003 as a recruiter. It was then that he founded Rubino Rekrytering.
Initially, assignments focused on sales and marketing competencies of various kinds, but this quickly evolved to include a wider range of roles and industries. In 2023, Harry’s wife, Hanne Rubino, took over the reins and is now Harry’s colleague, while he has shifted his focus from leading the company to doing what he enjoys most and does best: helping our clients with recruitment.
Operating Across Sweden and the Nordic Region
Our office is located in Stockholm, but we actively recruit throughout Sweden and the Nordic region, including Denmark, Norway, and Finland. Our team consists of experienced recruitment consultants who not only have extensive expertise in recruitment, but have also held senior positions across various parts of the business world. We also have the privilege of maintaining a close collaboration with the Finnish recruitment firm, Target Headhunting.
We are proud to work with clients ranging from large publicly listed companies and startups to well-established, family-owned businesses across Sweden and the Nordic region. While we have conducted recruitments across most industries, we have a particular focus on the electrical and energy sectors, automotive, and manufacturing industries. We place great emphasis on gaining a deep understanding of our clients’ businesses and industries in order to identify the values and competencies that truly make a difference for your organization.

Experienced – We have been recruiting for others for a long time. And we have been working with people even longer. We have learned a lot – about ourselves, about people, about business and entrepreneurship. We always carry this with us, guided by a healthy dose of common sense.
Persistent – We never give up. It is as simple as that. Nothing is set in stone, so this is something that lives within us at Rubino, in our culture, in our DNA. We know there are people out there who want to grow. And we know there are companies that need them. Only when they meet, and professional chemistry is created, are we satisfied.
Developing – Our curiosity and drive make us always want to move forward. The opposite of development is stagnation, and that is probably one of the ugliest words we know. And we share. This allows us to grow, makes our clients better (and makes collaboration much more enjoyable), and helps our candidates become better.
