To Oerlikon Balzer we are looking for a
Business Development / Sales Manager for the Nordic Region
As a Business Development / Sales Manager within Precision Components you will deliver top line growth in accordance with the three year business plan. You will implement the growth strategy in Scandinavia (SE, DK, NO, FI), and drive and monitor the sales and marketing process in the region. In this position you will lead a small sales & marketing team to execute the plan and continuously work towards improving the sales process.
You will also:
• Create, implement and execute regional sales & marketing plan
• Develop customer relationships with key accounts, prospects & decision makers
• Pro-active collaborate with colleagues in the global network and Headquarters
• Report progress against sales targets and implementation of growth strategy
To be considered a candidate for this position, we expect you to have several years experience in B2B business development / sales management with a proven track record of delivering growth. You have experience from one or more of the following engineering market segments: Automotive & Truck, Hydraulics/Fluid Power, Oil & Gas, Paper & pulp, Off Highway, Aerospace/IGT.
You are experienced in managing customer relationships at various levels and deliver a hands-on approach to business development. Furthermore you will need to possess excellent communication and negotiation skills and have a “can do” mindset. You have successfully managed a high-performing sales organization and experience in international business environment.
As a person you are proactive, entrepreneurial and have a goal oriented approach. You have an University degree in materials or mechanical engineering, or several years vocational experience within B2B Technical Sales Management. Fluency in Swedish and English is essential for the position – other languages beneficial. For this position you will have to be willing to travel three to four days per week in the Nordic Area. Your own location is flexible, as long as you live within Scandinavia and possess the required language preferences.
